Our Sensory Pathways transform school corridors into engaging movement spaces that students can access to support regulation throughout the school day.
 
The pathway follows an evidence-informed alerting, organising and calming sequence, in line with occupational therapy-informed practice. However, the movements are intentionally non-prescriptive and child-led, giving students autonomy, choice and control over how they use the pathway.
 
The fun but functional visuals encourage students to use their imagination, interpret each activity in their own way and choose movements that help meet their individual sensory and movement needs.
 
Activities also provide opportunities to support balance, coordination, motor planning, body awareness and physical fitness.
