

Our Why
SUPERCALM was born from lived experience and a deep desire for change. As a proudly neurodivergent entrepreneur — diagnosed as an adult with ADHD and dyslexia — and a parent to neurodivergent children, I witnessed firsthand the challenges that students, teachers, and schools face daily. I saw not only how hard children work to function efficiently in environments not designed for their needs, but also how under-equipped educators are to support them with limited tools, training, and time.

Drawing on years of experience in product design and manufacturing, I began creating permanent, easy-to-use regulation tools grounded in occupational therapy principles — giving even untrained staff the confidence to help students regulate their nervous systems and return to learning ready to engage. For us, true inclusion recognises that the responsibility should never rest on neurodivergent students to mask or conform to the societal belief and expectation that a specific, "typical" way of thinking, feeling, and behaving is the correct or superior way to exist but on society itself to create environments that enable all individuals to thrive authentically.
