I think we can all agree ensuring well-targeted early interventions for all children in our school system is the cornerstone for:
1: Nurturing our most vulnerable in society to develop essential life skills to become self sufficient, independent happy adults.
2. Empowering children who learn and think differently to fulfil their destiny for the arts, innovation, invention, research, coding, science & entrepreneurship.
Currently there is insufficient state funding to provide the diagnosis, treatment interventions, infrastructure, sensory equipment, staff training and resources to effectively educate and meet the social and emotional needs of our children with special needs:
Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Dyslexia, Learning Delays, Sensory Processing Disorder, Anxiety, Tourettes & Cerebral Palsy & Developmental Conditions.
What's the short term solution? At SUPERCALM we believe it's time to find a SUPERHERO. To help we have prepared a bright and cheerful resource titled 'Would you like to be our school SUPERHERO?'
The aim being to find prospective local businesses, larger organisations and philanthropy groups who:
have a sense of social responsibility to support ALL students’ equal right to an education regardless of their ability or financial means.
value their contribution to a universal learning environment.
wish to empower students for the long term to develop essential life skills promoting wellbeing among the wider community.
Of course we wanted to offer our top tips for you the fund seekers. We believe it's a numbers game, don't make any assumptions and make your proposal memorable with photos of the students & school. Don't forget to outline clearly how you intend to spend the funds raised breakdown the costs (We have photos of the full SUPERCALM product range available to accompany your proposal - just call 018623852 for help)
